Montessori Infant and Toddler (0-3 years)
The Programme The Montessori Infant/Toddler Course is a hands-on experiential programme in which facilitation alternates with practical sessions under the guidance of qualified and experienced facilitators. This 140 credits accredited programme can be studied Full Time, Part Time and Online. This course is suitable for parents, and the adult working in a home or infant/toddler classroom environment. Our training successfully prepares you with the knowledge and resources you need to joyfully guide and care for infants and toddlers in the Montessori environment. The academic component takes just under one year to complete and includes a comprehensive study of Montessori philosophy and practice, covering child psychology and human development from conception to the early years. Students explore classroom management and techniques for supporting the development of infants and toddlers as well as the use, sequence and method of presentation of the Montessori didactic materials in all curriculum areas. Full-Time classes are held during the week and Part-Time classes take place on Saturdays. After the successful completion of the academic component, students are required to complete a one term internship in a Montessori Infant or Toddler environment. Graduates from this programme may work in the Early Childhood infant toddler (0-3 years) environment as a lead guide. Read more in our Course Prospectus or Contact Us to make an appointment.
